Anyone see that daring rescue in the papers a few years back? A momma cat runs back into the house more than once to save her younguns and is burned blind in the process. A mother's love knows no boundaries, I know, I have a terrific mom. -Momma's Boy Thayne

Vermont town's records were lost
that mean I wasn't born
....GrandmaThing-- My oldest sister lost her original birth certificate.
Being born on my folk's travels, she sent for a copy, only to be told
the court house records were all burned in a fire. We come from big
family and had church records so no problems. May you know love.

Your story reminded me of my Daddy's woes in the same situation. Court house burned.
No records. "you'll have to find someone who can vouch for the fact that you were born
on your birthdate," the lady told him in all seriousness. And in all seriousness he answered,
"Well, I am pretty sure I was." I just laugh out every time I remember it.
