Poem Number 1137
three squirrels squat
fluffy tailed, commiserate
where all nuts had gone
Commentary:
Oh I like this one! There is a place I walk with m'lady and she told me that years ago there was a "nutty" old woman who lived in a nearby shack.
The woman scooted along in a wheelchair everyday with a bag of nuts and a crowd of hungry squirrels behind her. She is now deceased and the shack long since condemned but her followers are still there wondering "where all nuts had gone."

Was contemplating loss of nuts due to drought and fires. I like your
story better.-- GrandmaThing--May you know love.

Never a shortage of nuts on this planet, they grow from every branch of every family tree ever planted
on HIS earth, just part of HIS sense of humor I guess
