Poem Number 665
Pain and suffering
go hand in hand amongst those
too tight wedding bands
Commentary:
This reminded me of when my Mom was pregnant with her 10th child. She
bloated unexpectedly and the doctor said she had to cut her wedding
band off or it would shut off circulation in her finger. I remember
seeing her cry as my Dad cut it off-ever so gentley. Just a plain gold
band, but she didn't want anything more.--GrandmaThing--May you know
love.

Oh, what a grand woman. That incident deserves a haiku vignette. Would you like to do the honors, or shall I? --eritain (Of course such a person would be Thingy's mother!)
