Poem Number 37
How high the gull flys
Soaring through the misted cloud
Raucous birds near earth
Commentary:
Good collaborative effort! I liked your closing line, Lida Jo. Inland, we have crows; seaboard, we have gulls. I love them both for their "raucousness"! -- Paul B.

Thank you, Paul! How wonderful. I love gulls and crows, too. We used to
have a pet crow when I was about 4-5 years old. My big brother had shot at
the mother and winged her. In her last flight she tried to make it back to
her nest of babies. He saw that and cried. He came home and begged Mama
to let him go get the babies. She did and we managed to raise one. A
wonderful raucous experience! LJ
