Poem Number 225
Sadness looms above
Rain from a silver lined cloud
Tears start rolling down
*
Commentary:
Oh, sk! I do like this one. Are the angels crying for humanity again?

thanks again ___Thing! I'm not sure if the angels are crying for humanity but they are probably crying for me at least. - sk

sk, may I give you a gentle hug? Sometimes we just need to know that we are
loved, and you, my friend are loved here...{{{{{{{SK}}}}}}} (---notice the
capitals! Would you like to come sit next to me? There is a vacant seat here
and I am very good at hand holding. Whatever is troubling you, I know you can
can get through it, and when you feel too weak to walk another step..remember to
grab the hand of a friend and let us walk you through...kmangold@provide.net (anytime)~QuicheMarie
~who has many times needed to grasp a hand in order to walk the next step...
"...be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees
and the stars; you have a right to be here. ...with all its shams, drudgery, and
broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Strive to be happy." `Max Ehrmann from
the Desiderata

thank you so much for your kindness. It means so much that people still care :) - sk

sk,
Don't know your story but I hope it is not to sad a tale. I do believe that
if there are angels they are surely crying for humanity and you. I have really
liked your poems all I've read thus far. May your wounds be healed and happiness
and peace abound in your life soon. LOL

thanks opto! I needed that well-wish! -sk

Quiche Marie, that is the sweetest, bravest thing I have seen since I arrived
on the Internet. How profound. sk, there is another writer of Haiku who
signs of with, "may you be surrounded with love, and joy and peace" or some
such mixture. I know if she were here she'd give you that blessing. Since I
haven't seen her name for awhile, I'll leave it in her name, Liz de Wiz.
You write eloquently of your sorrows in this Haiku, dear one. As I said before:
You have not wasted your sorrows. One can, you know. And that may be the greatest
sorrow of all. But you have not. With each gem of Haiku, you have taken a little
spoonful of sorrow and turned it into a diamond for the minds of all who come here to
read and be refreshed. Thank you, dear one. Lida Jo
