Poem Number 214
Bruises, like sunsets
Fade as darkness hugs the shore
Broken hearts bleed on...

Commentary:
QuicheMarie,
Sad but oh so true. I hope that your situation gets better for you. Maybe
I'm reading more into this than is really there. For myself the bruises
were not on the outside but on the inside where they never fade. I hope that
all those who have been or are being bruised may find the healing balm of
love somewhere. A heart wrenching poem that hits close to home. LOL

~~~QuicheMarie~~::This is so true. !!!!! Even without the physical
punching. The word insults that weren't meant so make one feel like
crawling into one's self and hiding from the world. Here I can be me
and I thank you for a well crafted work. __ThisThing___63
QuicheMarie This haiku is splendid in its sadness. You have drawn a masterpiece with these words
Out of your adversity has come something that will touch other lives.
You must have a lot of inner strength and courage because it sure shines
through here. Harvena
{{{opto}}}: Line one~ external, Line three~ internal... yes, one fades sooner than
the other, but both can heal...And thanks for your concern! I have found that
one must go through the winter before waking to Spring, and the waking is not
always pleasant either...suddenly there are feelings never felt before, like
anger and grief, and sadness and tears...but they tell me that once this passes,
Spring is a beautiful season, can't wait to get there! {{{Thing}}} {{{Harvena}}}
Such kind words! Bless you...~QMarie~
