Poem Number 188
"Turn me loose you cad".
"What did I ere do to create
repulsion in you?"

Commentary:
Been watching old movies on PBS again Thing?? ~Quiche~
-------
Quiche::Not really. It just seemed like I was supposed to put
it out there because somebody needed to hear it. Sometimes
things work and we're not sure how. ___ThisThing___63
-------
It seems like sometimes all we have to do is breathe the same air as someone
to create such contempt. I guess we must accept the good with the bad else
how would we know the difference? LOL

-------
QuicheMarie::After the last few days I'm convinced this was
precognition. God knew I was going to need to say it to someone
and put it here before it was needed. HE's such a smart God.
___ThisThing___63
-------
Sorry, Thing, I have read this many times, and I can't figure out what it is
that needed to be said...I guess that means it wasn't meant for me...lol. I do
just have one comment to make...This haiku seems to be talking about a bully/
maybe some domestic violence...I see a man grabbing a woman, the woman wondering
what it is that she did to cause him to harm her, when she thought that he
loved her...I just want to say that she did NOTHING to CREATE repulsion in him.
He is responsible for his own emotions and actions. It is never the victem's
fault when she/he is abused, even though the assailant will try to make it look
like it was something that they said or did that provoked it. Enough said.
This subject is close to my heart. {{{Thing}}} ~QuicheMarie~
-------
~~~QuicheMarie~~Thanks for commenting. Lucky for me my husband wouldn't
hurt a fly-gets upset when I swat spiders. With my first husband I
told him,"You know we live on the third floor." Answering yes I said,
"You see that window. If you ever hit me you're out it." He knew I
meant it because I knew the basics of judo and had flipped him a couple
times playing. ___Thing Don't have a lot of fight left anymore.
-------
...just curious Thing...is that why this one is your "second husband"...did your first one
make much of a mess on the sidewalk?.....LOL Well, Thing, after 11 years
of taking it, I am finally free. ~Quiche~
-------
QuicheMarie~~No, he's very much alive--last I heard. He had two more
children. Thought he should live by the old adage of one but I was
sure he had more. Looking back I wonder if it's not easier to forgive
infidelity than to forgive yourself for your own mistakes.___Thing
-------
Thing..i think it is always more difficult to forgive ourselves...quiche
-------
Couldn't help but comment on the running commentary. Quiche you are right
it isn't the fault of the victim despite what the abuser says. It is so
easy for someone on the outside looking in to make judgement. Your also
right in that it is easier to forgive others than ourselves. I know from
experience. LOL to you and TT63.
Do you mind if I call you Thingy?
It suits you...tom
-------
Tom::Thingy suits me fine--just want to serve notice that I have been
known to hug (((TOM))) strange men--even those not so strange. ___Thingy
-------
hmmm tom/thingy hmmmm
-------
As they all exit, stage right the curtain closes--you didn't think
you'd get to watch that hug did you? (((__))) End Scene Two
-------
It's all so sweet.What can I say? all my flabbers are ghasted...tom
