twisting in the wind
one last futile try to hide
dying butterfly


Commentary:
twisting in the wind
is much harder than it looks
ask chubby checker.........zendo(showing his age)

distorted branches bow down
leaves curve and collapse ......DRQ

waiting for the phone to ring
where are you tonight?

thanks for the compliments and the warm welcome, yes, i am new here, found this site yesterday night, couldn't stop reading (and i wanted to go to bed early!) this is my first haiku, didn't think it would be so much fun (and after such a wonderful first line it was no problem to get inspired for a finish), i don't have much time - but whenever possible i'll stop by here to read, to get enchanted, and maybe even to deliver some great finishes ;o)____vic
