burning candles at
both ends gets old too quickly
and wastes wax and wick
Commentary:
"...and someone always gets left holding the candle. Does he get burned?"

38, this is great. One suggestion: can you cut out the 'and' somehow? I think it
will strengthen an already strong poem. Lida Jo
