Poem Number 2073
peekpurple crocus
crackle (ring!)dong bane at E.
E. toolong (often)
Commentary:
I read this, didn't understand it but loved the sound and then realized maybe the sound was the thing and I was trying to be too literal! The first line is just wonderful and then the onamatapoea (spelling) of the second is spendidly memorable! "Crackle (ring!) dong" May I quote that sometime if I put it in quotation marks to say it isn't mine but a borrowed phrase? Lida Jo from Union, O.

I love it. I have been an e.e. fan for some 30 odd years. Although, it's hard to fit e.e. into haiku form, LOL Looks like you had fun trying! ~Q~

Thank you Lida Jo, had to look up onomatopoeia then felt dumb ;). Quiche is right too trying to 'ku Master Cummins is a lot of fun! ··· robbynl
