Poem Number 1582
The desperate drifter
Quiet yet consumed by death
He sits motionless
Desperate drifter/aimlessly ambles/too near the grave
Commentary:
the water beckons
consumed with thoughts of death
she clings to the tree
-------
still waters
an empty boat passes
she climbs in.......just another Joe
-------
like a boat
without an oarsman
love floats by.......a take-off of an ancient haiku circa 850 ad
-------
postponing it's fall
the leaf hangs by a thread
breeze stirs....alice (a previously posted one)
-------
leaves on tree quiet
except for one seems to spin
different current

GT--Alice saw this today while resting on my shovel, looking up for a bit.
Got my last row turned today. Yippee!!!! All seeds planted, bulbs, tomatoes,
peppers, and cantelopes. Should make a nice garden for us if we have enough time.
-------
Is only fair for you to share the harvest too, seeing as how you have shared all the planting and work with so far.LOL....m4r
-------
I agree with m4r GT.... can't wait to taste those rock melons.... yummeee:)
..alice
-------
By the way ...just how long do we have to wait to taste them there peaches off the new tree....m4r
-------
m4r::Probably 3-4 yrs. You don't plant them for today. Don't think we'll have
any apples this year, due to the storms when the trees were in bloom. We'll
see in a little while.--GrandmaThing--Know love.
