Poem Number 1191
Sweet mandolins play
A s we walk down cobbled streets
Nibbling on our fruit
Commentary:
Jimbo::Pomegranates? Nicely done.--GrandmaThing--Know love.
-------
I have walked down cobbled streets, I have nibbled on fruit, but oh to have mandolins play for me.... (sigh).......alice
-------
I visited a tiny town in Italy called Ventimilla...walked past a little fruit stand and the colors were so gorgeous and vibrant, I had to take a picture...when I raised my camera, the man working there sat up straight and proud, posing for the picture....it's one of my very favorite photos.....thank you for this poem, it brings the memory back vividly for me......cecily
