My soul its headstone

Commentary:
well said - sad :(

Lovely - well thought and poignant

This is tragically splendid! It is Everyman's story.
Beautifully wrought.

I want to add this: last February in Texas my family and I said good-by to my oldest sister. And with her we said good-by to much of our history for she was the 'keeper of the book' of our lives. Want to know what day, month, year you had pneumonia, your nephew was born, Uncle Bud clim-
bed the mountain? It was all in our sister's writings. I feel indeed "my soul is her headstone," only until your poem, I had no words to express that. Thank you, dear poet.
