I exhale softly
so as not to disturb you
as I finally die

Commentary:
I exhale softly
So as not to distub you
Finally I die

Thank you for your kind comments. I haven't written many Haikus, but I am developing a greater appreciation of them. Their ability to convey feelings that are difficult - perhaps impossible to adequately put into words. The poetry in haiku, it seems to me, lies entirely between the lines.

eritain, I am so happy to see your dear name in the poetry and comments. I don't come often but it is so good to find the poets I have come to love still here among the new and exquisite talent displayed. LJ from ID
