Poem Number 4612
Forgotten summer
Now clad in russet and gold
Apples taste sharp now.

Commentary:
ChikubaMadman: Nice. If you have any apples you are lucky or did your
pollination with brushes. We have pear and apple trees but no fruit this
year due to frost and storms that got the flowers and pollinators.--
GrandmaThing-May you know love!
-------
I live in an ancient long abandoned orchard which the forest has crept in around. You'd think that fussy apple trees that need to be so pampered when producing would harldy have any fruit on them at all being neglected but each year there are hundreds of tart red apples for the animals to eat.

Oh and as a practical note the owners of the blueberry barrens put commercial hives out and bees being bees don't know they're only supposed to pollinate what they're being paid for.
