Poem Number 4610
"Don't blame it on me"
Said God with a sulky voice
"Cause I don't exist!"

Commentary:
"You made it yourself
only weaklings thanks their God
Cause I don't exist!"

the other way around?

Such a conundrum [a riddle a dilemma]you present to us. If God doesn't esist-
how can he think or talk?????--GrandmaThing-May you know HIS love!
-------
You are very sharp-eyed Grandma Thing-May you know love! That's exactly the question many religious people ask themselves every day, I know cause I know a few.

My own believe is that there is no God as being our 'creator' or as someone (something) that can help us literally, e.g. sending us more money when we may need it. I believe that God only exist inside the minds of people (like yourself?) who believe in a God. They can blame 'him', they can thank 'him', they can find solace sending 'him' a prayer and they can find peace in meeting other people with the same believes.

Other interesting questions: Is God male or female? Why do religious people start wars trying to convince others that their God is the most peaceful and loveable?

-blunder-

PS Remember, I did the writing (and some thinking) ....

-------
good questions blunder. i never leap into discussions concerning religion ... i allus feel as you do, that there is no god who indulges us with gifts and who delves out punishment to us while here on earth. i haven't gone to church in 2 decades. and yet, i am convinced of his existence just as surely as a newborne knows where to find the teat to suckle. is that faith, or instinct? it is we who manifest god into the various religious icons, rather than recognize he is the same everywhere ... that life-giving force that enabled me and all living things to creep out of the dust and take an earthly form. we are fragments of a greater energy. in that sense i thank god i exist, now what to do while i am here is up to me? i believe good and evil is man made, and if there is truly no god, there had need to be.

i respect your belief and somewhat share it. so yes, i can glean your meaning from these haikus. my comment above (the one thing the soul of an atheist never expected to hear, eh?) was put there in jest, for how surprised would he be to hear god speak?

War should be fought only over the three essentials:
red rum, riot, and rapine.
-------
God is neither male or female. God is spiritual. You can't ascribe sex to something that cannot be ascribed sex to...it's like saying that a box is male or a spoon is female. Religious people start wars because they miss the point of peace. Humans abuse religion as a free ticket to do the unreligious under the guise of doing what's right for their 'cause'. Religious differences do not start wars, humans do. You don't have to believe in God. No one's going to force you. You can prove till you're blue in the face that there isn't a God, but no one will know until they have truly carked it. I could go on for more, but it's late, and I'm tired...so there's some food for thought...
