Poem Number 4437
Rain drenched Plumbago
weeps blue tears
across the path
scene often revisited,sometimes shared
even more often,jealously guarded
oh but to master the pallet ,
and rescind the sequester
forever free in immortal colours
then adaquately shared ,but alas i have only words

Commentary:
This gives me such a feeling! I don't know what Plumbago is - a plant? But weeping blue tears across the path - lovely. I can see rain-drenched flowers draped wetly in a muddy path. Lovely. Absolutely lovely. R.J.G.

Plumbago is a bush that grows very well here in New Zealand. It has dark green leaves with the most beautiful sky blue cluster type flower. It is currently in flower and I can see it through my window as I type this. When it is raining the colour of the flower is even more intense. They can actually be grown as hedge, but the one in my garden in solo and quite large.
