Poem Number 4292
Take this bitter pill
For I have plucked the blossom
That unfolds bright red

Commentary:
That unfolds bright red
-------
I find it interesting to write Haiku here. There is no going back with an eraser to revise your words. A line that has been inked is indelibly there forever. If you're brave enough to continue then sometimes you can sit back and look at your poem and see aspects of yourself that were hidden before you tricked them out. Why would love unfold bright red? I don't really know perhaps it's not really love I'm thinking of but some other pandora's box that I fear I've opened. Whatever it is I've picked the lock and must suffer the consequences. - Chikuba Madman

I think I'm sorry I read that.
Jurnee

Love unfolds bright red
The land is so very dry
Soon rain whispers silk
.
I don't think it's love that's the Pandora's box Jurnee. I think there is a boil of other emotions freed along with the love that is the bitter pill. -Chikuba Madman

I got a picture of a young man opening his heart to whatever awaits him …..be it good or bad, it just is....m4r

love unfolds bright red
and blushing with innocence
barbara's first kiss...:)V
