Grasses sway freely
Above frenzied branches soars
Unhurried eagle...~Green

I wrote this one here in my office...I have a ranch across the street where I saw the filly from the poem I wrote prior to this one and the bald eagle from this one. I have always loved birds of all kinds. I was amazed about 8 years ago to find that we have huge white pelicans here in Colorado!...~Green

Where the eagle soars
There is no doubt who the land

Sorry, I'm not ready to give it over to the turkeys yet....although they do outnumber the eagles, for sure.......bkay

Wild turkeys are the American peacocks IMO but I watch for the eagle each day at four so I can't say I don't like eagles just Ben Franklin - CM
