"The Wine Dark Sea" is borrowed from the great blind poet. I live on the sea shore and to me "The Wine Dark" sea means just as much as it would to Odysseus.

FYI Greek wine of the classical period was actually more of a blue shade.

It's a pretty picture for us landlubbers OZ but if you're stuck out there the "Wine Dark Sea" is very scary when the fog roils around you.

I actually find it very calming to sit on the rocks and let the fog roll in around me. The sound muffles and your universe is reduced to only a few feet in either direction. No getting seasick on the rocks OZ:) -CM
