straw hat basket weave
shadows on bare skin leave tanned
uneven pattern

Commentary:
A great image of hot summer days and the marks they leave on us.
My grandfather and his brothers used to tape numbers on their backs and then peel the tape off at the end of the day to reveal the pale number on their skin. (Much to the chagrin of their proper mother)
