Poem Number 4176
Grassy hill visions
Six-foot drop realities
Six hour surgery...
~Green

Commentary:
My 10-yr.-old son can barely see...blind in one eye(literally) and terribly far-sighted in the other...He thought he would just ride down and ended up flipping over on his bike. His helmet was full of punctures, his glasses were broken, he has a Charlie Chaplin "mustache" carved into his upper lip(in scratches) and 40+ stitches to re-attach his lower lip to his bottom gums. At least he was under anesthetic during the part where they removed the debris from his mouth...Poor kid!...~Green
-------
By the way, all the damages were inside his mouth...he will not be scarred for life!...~Green
-------
Wow, that must have been frightening, Green. I hope he heals quickly and thoroughly. Give him a hug from the IPP poets..........~Q~
-------
May he heal quickly,no fun hurting.Thank God for small miracles.
Hugs from my side of the world(TEXAS)and thats a bunch of hugs...:)V
-------
Thanks everyone, my boy's doing much better now! Back to riding a bike already!...~Green
-------
so glad he's OK, ~Green.... he was in my prayers..... much love, ginny
