Star-crossed hormonal weakness
Could he be the one?

I don't really know if this qualifies as haiku.

A shoulder under my hand
Yet she was not here

Her voice on the phone:
"So love will it be with us?"
Could she be the one?

Should have been the one
She, far away now, the smell
Of sage in her hair...............bkay
