Summer vacation
I still hustle my children
out the door early

lunchboxes packed
neither of them wants
the Scooby-doo

neighborhood carpool
I thought I was driving but
they pile in her car

rushing to work
the truck in front of me
needs directions

on the "expressway"
traffic is moving at
5 miles per hour

Truckdriver~
yesterday's pizza
for breakfast

On Monday morning
a elder couple takes
their Sunday cruise

finally at work
I collapse into my chair
the phone starts ringing

I answer cheerfully
the juice from a nectarine
running down my chin...........~Q~

With my off the wall schedule,normal(SATURDAY/SUNDAY)weekends
are treasured...even with the rain.I like playing in the rain
