I read in Preservation Magazine about an Inspector in NYC who does nothing but go into spaces that have never been visited since they were built. He finds tools left behind as if the hand that wielded them is going to come right back and finish the job started a hundred years ago. I'm fascinated by such spaces int the real world too RAS.
