Poem Number 3980
Her tender voice
Released into the Wind
Sings now of Spring
Commentary:
~Q~
Beautiful and oh so true. Her winter was long and I marvel at her strength
a strength I can only dream of. Thank you my friend for this special tribute
to my mother who I will sorely miss. I will keep this in my book of poems
and treasure it as I do the ring on my finger, the chain of gold around my
neck, and the copper bracelet around my wrist. All of these things belonged
to her and I treasure them as I do these words you've written in her memory.
Thank you.

You're welcome, opto. I hope your own winter is over soon. You have my condolences, and those of your family here at IPP....love, ~Q~

her last breath here
precedes her first one there
now free of pain.........................RAS - mine too, Sir. I went through this with my father, and though it was a dozen or more years ago, it's an indelible memory. If it's any consolation, I remember him as he was in Life, not as he was towards the End - so you shall probably remember her the same way. Strength to you.

RAS,
I agree and these past few days as we go through her things I have had
many opportunities to remember her as she was, if only it would stop
raining so much. Thank you for the kind words.

Perfection and grace. Reminded me that the Greek word for the soul, psyche, originally referred to a person's dying breath. Mitch
