Poem Number 3974
Watch ev'ry sunset
As though it were the last one
You might ever see.

Commentary:
After posting this, I revised it:
Watch ev'ry sunset
As though it were the last light
At the end of time.

v nice - reminds me of a quotation attributed to Albert Einstein: "There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." I prefer the latter..............RAS

I wrote this to accompany a photograph of a sunset near Flagstaff, AZ. Strangely enough, my main purpose was to shoot in the opposite direction, trying to catch the glow of the setting sun in the snow on San Francisco Peaks. What I was getting wasn't very satisfactory, and I happened to turn around to the west and saw what I was missing there. I think there's a lesson there, somewhere :-)....bkay

There is nothing ugly about you my friend. Your beauty is from the inside

Thanks RAS and opto. I wasn't fishing for compliments here. RAS made a comment that I just had to play on. You both know how I feel about myself, and how I feel about each of you. Your love and friendship has healed many wounds...~Q~

I know you weren't but I had to respond anyway. I appreciate your love
and friendship in return. The worth of a true friend cannot be purchased
in gold or precious stone.
