Poem Number 3958
Heart song dies slowly
Last note fades on silent wind
Loneliness begins

Commentary:
lonliness captured
the wind carries your song
of love to her ear...........

the blues fade
as another song
takes it's place.......using GT's line, "may you know love," Opto...~Q~

Well! Isn't this nice?? Look who's back! Opto: So glad to see your words
again. You have truly been missed. Hope you shall be able to stay for a
little while at least.--((Opto))--GrandmaThing--May you know love!

GrandmaThing,
Thank you for the kind words of welcome and the hug, more appreciated than
you could know. My mother died last Tuesday and these past few days have
been difficult. Family and friends have made it easier to endure but I
miss her already. She was sick for the past 3 years with Cancer and I am
so grateful that God answered my prayers and ended her pain. Still I am
sad at the loss. I will come back often to these pages as I find much
comfort here. Love to all who grace this site with Poetry and kind words.

Much love to you opto..I am so sorry for your loss, I pray you will find peace and comfort in the days and weeks ahead....alice

Alice,
Thank you. I too pray for comfort and peace but not for myself but for my
Dad. He has spent the last three years caring for Mom as she fought the
good fight against a unbeatable foe. I cannot imagine how any person who
looses their mate of 43 years faces the days ahead. I would not trade places
with him. I know others have done it and I am sure he will be fine but I
still would not want to face the days and weeks ahead as he will. Thank you
again for the heartfelt words of comfort.

Thank you for the words of comfort. You are right even when you know the
end is inevitable you just can't give up hope.
