i'm only saying this because you asked...i personally prefer a haiku that is more specific or tangible...one that evokes an emotional response from me. i would prefer a haiku about the cause of the lonliness i think this poem is describing. i'm no expert...this is only one person's solicited opinion...david

Sweet Novemember,the words you have written here are beautiful. I am one of those who prefer concrete, tangible pictures in haiku. Ones that give me clear images. A precise image can cause those emotions that you have written about here, to rise up within the reader, thereby allowing him/her to make their own mind up about how your haiku makes them feel...this is my preference even though I LOVE reading those poems that come straight out of the heart :))).....welcome here, I hope you'll continue writing with us ...alice the longwinded...:))
