Poem Number 3893
cupid's valentine
two days after holiday
puppies arrived late

Commentary:
Our 8 yr. female has had a tumor on her head for 3 years and when she was
scratching our new rug to shreds we thought she must be in pain and would
have to be put to sleep. When she wouldn't eat I was sure she must be in
pain, since she was always a good eater. When my girl went outside to bring
them in for the day she rushed upstairs with two little black blobs in her
hands and screamed, "Tabby isn't dying, she's a mother. There were three
but one died. She was scratching the rug cause she was trying to build a
nest. Since they are both girls I'm calling them Valentine and Cupid.!!"
Surprise! Surprise! We hadn't a clue and I helped teach her biology.--
