Poem Number 1685
silence roared through the gaps
of tongue-tied desire
but we left our sacred sinks hang to dry along the beaches, praying for no flood.
drained of inhibition, naked bums bounce in brine
upsetting the Rastafarian cook, the owner of the sacred sink.
who was brewing up a bit of tea to sooth and provide relief
