Commentary:
A Mozart CD brings birds
To afternoon’s open window concerto
Mr. Blue Jay hops on cedar bough
Muttering, flirting, he struts, vying
Stiff competition for a child prodigy
His head cocked, calculating distance
Making assumptions - I talk to him
But he just laughs and grins
Flashes astonishing blue wings
