Poem Number 3696
I severed myself
From you, the reaper
Like locusts to a crop
You swarmed my spirit
The impervious sadist
Cold, unanimated
Wearing a smile only
To mask your insanity
But I'll be fooled no more!
Now changed, at ease
Untouched by negativity
I've broken free
So lick your lips
And feed off not me
But the salt from your tears
That taste of regret
And stream from your eyes
Of desperation
Commentary:
Sounds like you dated the same guy I did. Good for you, who needs a soul sucking vampire of a lover? --Moussifer
