Poem Number 3639
Another Rewritten, Rehashed, Reposted Christian Poem for our Times

Commentary:
When the received scored the touchdown,
He kissed his finger,
And pointed to the sky
Before dancing his victory dance.
And in the heavens,
The Father turned to his Son,Jesus, and said,
"Did you see that?
He was pointing at me,
Thanking me. He thinks I did it.
I was trying to make him miss."

I always thought it funny that Football players would do this. What does God care about football? There are starving people on this earth! bitterorange.
-------
Sorry, B-Orange, but I respectfully disagree. God loves the starving, the fed..but he also loves the ND Fighting Irish, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Phillies. He hates the Yankees, the Cowboys/Redskins/Giants, Penn State, and he's voting Democratic...bp
-------
He may indeed love all people but I do not believe that he puts the same weight upon who wins a football game and who is suffering and starving. BO

this poem made me smile...and almost giggle. ;) ~Q~
