i was warned by the "outsider" that there were lots of strange people at that site. he [sic] was right. he was pretty weird himself. trying to get me to come to L.A. to fuck me and god knows what, a severed head? anyway, enough about elephants, incest and the circus. now there were some writers of note. most based out of Texas. there's some funky folks in the Lone Star State fer sure. some real radicals. some terrific poets and writers. i'm impressed. so crazy fuks too! so i'm jez gunna hang here for awhile and see where i wanna go next. if you don't mind, y'all *echos silence*

it was great to see friends today and hang at english bay starbucks. i wore my new stretchy top with the deep neckline. i love how it fits low over my hips and clings to my ass. i caught my reflection in the window as we sat out in the sun and gave a big smile. i felt sexy and happy. i wished you were there. it was a good time.
i feel so much better now. god, i actually feel like life is worth living. it was a terrible long haul of sickness and discouragements.
things are better at the office now that i have a powerful ally. we are discrete and effective. i am so lucky to work with him in this capacity. i will miss him very much when the project concludes. he makes me laugh when the going is rough and brings sanity to the fucked up shit i have to deal with. i wish he were single :) but alas....

i have lots of work to do over the weekend and didn't touch it today. fuck it. i also need a day of rest. i'm trying to keep a modicum of work life balance. that's going to become almost impossible through June when the real action starts in the field.

chicago is the saving grace. god! i wish i had a man in the windy city. nine nights in a fabulous hotel with a kingsize bed and views of the city and no one to play with..... :( breaks mah heart, baby doll, truly!
