Poem Number 776
The dying beats of my heart are slow
Yet, strangely loud, pounding in my ears
I'm striving to die, I'm dying to know
Why I feel myself drowning without any fears
i'm scared to end it all but afraid if i don't someone else will
No one understands me, that's why I think I must go
Commentary:
So powerful in its simplicity. It takes me back to the end of my marriage when I was numbly going through the motions of wifeyhood.
I hated the feeling. But I love this piece. Well done.

Such confusion. Peace comes from God alone, all else is false wanting. Powerful words, I remember feeling this way myself.....g-rae
-------
Peace comes from GOD or whatever you want to call it. (if you have to call it something) Some say it simply comes from the inside. Giving it a name and claiming the name as the only possible way to peace, is the famous cycling error of insanity that has been plaguing humanity for thousands of years. Still going strong in the year 2006!
-------
Yes, please keep your godness to yourself. If you have found this peace, you wouldn't be spouting this crap.
-------
ease up. this guy will find his way. at least he's trying. the name god is only a signpost.
-------
GOD is not a signpost, but the way

everyone finds their own "way".
