Emily's Garden
Commentary:
Leafing through pages
Filled with every sort of flower
Colourful bookmark reminders
Of solitary excursions
Down flagstone paths
In Victorian gardens

Where calico cats doze in summer shade
Below roses clambered over garden arbours
Breathing deeply
Lily-of-the-valley and honeysuckled air
Dancing beside
Hedges of peonies offering proclamations
