Poem Number 764
Could You
Commentary:
Could you hear me last night
Whisper your name?
Though my lips were together
and nothing escaped them
I called for you
In the darkness.
My flesh
needed yours,
the heat
unbearable
the storm
Uncontrollable.
Could you hear me last night
As I moaned with delight
Though we did not lie together
tenderness
escaped from your dreams
through the window
And rested on me.
Could you feel me last night
as your fingers slid
Softly against my skin?
Touching my inner soul
and loving me
As I loved you.

Very sweetly written. I felt it should be read with a whisper. Nice to see you writing on IPP still~ ~Q~
