I want to ask him
many things

the hand the stirs the world
mixes up the lives and pollen
makes us sneeze and die
show me that hand
show me the skin and nails

the voice that calls us home
that pierces our brains and forces us to our knees
that answers some prayers with a resounding " Fuck Off"
let me hear this voice
let me hear the hum

the kiss that restores life
the lips that form healing words and soul saving passages
the same lips that whisper
"cancer" and "war"
your god has to explain

My god tells me
all is as it should be
all is as it is
no good
no bad
just
IS
and because I believe him
my world
is in harmony
always
