Commentary:
Lonely sock, where is your mate?
You have a sad tale to relate
About a soldier who came back
Leaving one foot in Iraq.
But think about it, if you would,
With every evil comes some good,
With every loss, a little gain,
A little comfort with each pain.
So, if the loss be right or wrong,
A pair of socks lasts twice as long.
