today we ponder the end
of isolation and consternation
focus on what we want to say
to each other
and hold sway...
a time apart
could add a heart
to sound bytes and time lines
a simple moment of real time
would add a clue or two
perhaps some spice - that would be nice
while waiting for the other shoe
