I'm a painter really, it's just
the brush is not quick enough
to capture all the images
and color teeming through
my head. I paint with words
satisfaction is immediate
.
I can change and rearrange
to suit my racing mind
without the mess of paint
the mix is far more delicate
with words, the color sings
the imagery is sharper
.
I love this life, the states
of bliss and emptiness
that tricle slowly forth
and sometimes rush as torrents
as I try to gain mastery
of the artform and get the magic
