Poem Number 322
Stringing Beads

Commentary:
One by one each separate bead,
each plastic pearl strung
like points in time,
carefully on cosmic string;
a star-jeweled necklace
in bright mosaic slowly appears
dangling, from the tiny fingers
of a little boy, who smiles
and laughs with satisfaction,
and looks to his father
with bright eyes and brighter face
and waits, if only for a second,
a smile of approval in return.

-------
We all want approval from our father...BR

-------
Yes. I try to remember that when I'm doling out the discipline. Gotta remember the positive strokes. *s.t.*
