Two for one

Well, I have been checking out beachfront property
I think I'm gonna buy a house this year...
So I can write to you while my eyes lazily chase bikinis
and my feet in the sand....or perhaps the ocean
Across the way from Italy I suppose.
Yes, as a poet I have found that
the need for intrinsic rewards of writing
Diminshed a little over time.
I don't know why, part of me gave up I guess for now.
Instead I have been chasing around my dreams.
I look at the highwater mark of my poetry,
Wanting so desperately someone to inspire me.
Death.
So now I dream of a beach house, and I check out property on the internet.
