Poem Number 9543
Dark Passion~
~
The sun goes down, the pale moon rises.
Out of her gown comes a man, dark and secretive.
His blonde hair shining purest of silver, His eyes are Summer Sky blue.
He is a Vampire and the city is his hunting ground.
Hin unknowing heart is bound to another.
A girl surrounded by white walls, topped with stars.
She walks a dark park, into a gazebo.
Here is where bands would play their parade songs, or alittle jazz.
Enfolded in shadows he watches her as silently he stalks her.
Watching her standing on the dark stage,
He is reminded of a Lord's Daughter, proud and strong
Always hungry for adventure, and far off places.
Unable to control himself, he calls to her, "Lisa?"
She turns but there is no one there, turning back
She sees only an Angel of Darkness.
His beauty is breathtaking, as he knew it would be,
Gently, slowly, he raised his hand to touch her cheek.
"Don't be afraid," he wispered "I won't, I can't hurt you."
"But you are the devil!" she gasps.
"Only if you want me to be." He takes her in his arms, softly comforting her.
No more words are needed as his lips close over hers.
A night of loving followed a very dull day.
She waited to return to the gazebo and Him.
He dreamed about her, even as he knew,
That the next night he would have to kill her.
She met him at the park, there he took her to his hotel room.
taking her in his arms, kissed her lustily, making his way down,
Moaning, they fell onto the bed.
A night af passion, neither will forget,
The dawn draws near as they stand on the balcony.
"I've never made love like that before." she said. "What's wrong?"
A tear of blood ran down his cheek,"This,"
And He killed her as passionly as he loved her.

Fapral, and now I stand in awe, and bow to you....I fancy myself a writer, and it seems too, that you have that skill as well as the poetic skill...The devil has his job to do, and if it is to kill, then so it must be, but there are no rules governing the devil having a lust, or even being able to love....and so he continues in loniliness having beheaded is one true love........Fapral, if I may be so brave, I still have your e-mail address and will contact you when given a chance.....you writing skill may be just what I'm looking for to transfer my active imagination onto blank sheets of paper........John H Jones

I just went back to my poem 9528 "Winding Down" my goodness, 17 and as intelligent as any grown intellectual....but then I am 21 and many have said I'm too young to have witnessed much of what I write...to add to things m'lady, you owe me nothing, you are a fine poet, and desereve recognition, and as for me, no, I am no great poet, I merely write from the heart.....and I look forward to mixing my work with yours......John H Jones

Wow! Fapral. Even though we're the same age, you have far surpassed me in language and expression. I really enjoy your poetry, and I am in awe at the amount of emotion you put into your words. ~melissa
