Together for decades...
Bride and Groom on the cake,
standing on sweetness forever,
without the intrusion of truth.
Rigid, eternally dressed in glamor,
no sullying of clothes or hearts,
they stand with vacant stares.
He and she will never know love,
just an inanimate life without knowing
that the other really cares.

Wrote this for our upcoming 46th anniversary. Still have that Bride and Groom up in the attic.lol Jane

Was impressed by hope for care acknowledged, but one must not be discouraged of truth, which is a trusted friend of love. There's a little bit of sadness in the poem, but a lot of happiness should be the focus for all those 46 years.

Didn't know you would be so much more than my slice of winter. He loves us more than we can truly understand. In His light and heavy love, we see and feel more and more...I LOVE YOU. What can I say for Him to His souls..All through your lives keep your eyes and hearts on Him.

PURITY LOVE ETERNITY - that's what He wants for every soul. what our lives should be in preparation of...welcoming, knowing, meeting Him.

With all the hate in the world, it's time for people to learn that every soul is very important to God. We should never wait until it's too late, or throw away opportunities to say we understand the pain of others. Neither should we be afraid to show the way to life, regardless of the prices to pay. We are not worthy of God, yet He humbled Himself to offer hope to a perishing world. Because of the price He paid, we are counted as worthy if we follow His example. Many are called. To His dismay, with all He's paid, not many answer. Someday, thanks to God, there will be only joy, and pain will be forgotten. Let the joy of the Lord be our strength.
