Poem Number 8973
~ Ship without an anchor ~
Drifting on the surface of the oceans
In no particular direction
The currents will shift and carry me home
Freedom, nothing to hold us down
Carefree, drifting across the seven seas
Like a ship without an anchor
Commentary:
Line 3, instead of carry "me" home is should really be carry "us" home =) Lord Ag.
-------
Lord Ag, good poem but I personally think I need an anchor and direction in my life, maybe some function well just drifting with no responsibility but it's not for me. "Sadness"
-------
Would have read this one more carefully if the functions weren't getting in the way.
-------
anon i don't think the point of this page is sarcastic remarks
-------
...responsibilies that compete very well with the stresses of buoyant poems, but who likes to complain.
-------
you do anon
-------
who doesn't want to be properly heard? who likes complaining,.. not anon.
-------
what the------it's most of the comments that are drifting without anchor---lord ag & sadness i agree with you both--i need responsibility--but i need to drift awhile too--both good points--i enjoy the different views--can't stand those that think their opinions are the only show in town---window watcher
