Poem Number 8971
Two plus two
---Anonymous
lips and lips
---Anonymous
added up to more
---Anonymous
than I intended
---Anonymous
when butting chin to chin
---Anonymous
with you, behind
---Anonymous
the high school auditorium. I thought,
---Anonymous
perhaps your kiss
---Anonymous
would transform me
---Anonymous
into something more womanly
---Anonymous
than a class ring
---Anonymous
wrapped with string,
---Anonymous
and braces.
---Anonymous
All curvaceous hips
---Anonymous
and jutting breasts
---Anonymous
my racing mind imagined;
---Anonymous
but all I got
---Anonymous
from this inarticulate
---Anonymous
sophmore lunchbreak embrace
---Anonymous
was cold sores
---Anonymous
and mononucleosis.
---pen:)
