The ball flew past me at the plate,
as I scratched myself and grabbed too late.
We lost the game...it was our fate,
'cause I scratched myself and grabbed too late!
Commentary:
The idea is very topical. The rhyme is fine, except you have "late" rhyming with "late". You're on the right track. Build on your good efforts. :: Howie
