Poem Number 8942
I can feel it,
the end of my season is at hand,
to say good bye to my days in the sun.
Glorious warmth of newness dwindles,
bravery of fresh blossoms abates,
leaving a fragile shell that crackles
under the harsh steps of the fates.
It was lovely while it lasted,
but time always recinds.
I'll soonbe just another dry leaf,
tossed about by Fall's Northern winds.
For Fall's anticipation of an "Ex"
May never be known by determination's "Vex"
A new season, may it truly begin
For the steps of 'fates' are under wing
With those trapped in times
With those who on Fall wait, scratch unwritten slates
Crunched leaves, shells, and blossoms, you have your life, but
There's a bloom in death, he has persuasion
Time though, will close on you,
When all that's felt is what you've lived...such 'fates', they give...
The reaps of
Nothingness.
Feel it?
